The Port of Georgetown is a deep water harbour, situated in Cardigan Bay on the east coast of Prince Edward Island.   The port remains ice-free from April 15 through December 31 and shipping through winter is not required by any of the current clientele.   Georgetown is approximately 100km from the port of Charlottetown.

Georgetown is located on Cardigan Point, Cardigan Bay, east coast of Prince Edward Island.   During winter season icebreaker support is available upon request.
